English Idioms
« on: September 26, 2012, 11:15:38 AM »
Dear all,

Let's talk about idiom...

An idiom is a phrase where the words together have a meaning that is different from the dictionary definitions of the individual words

For example

Don't Judge the book by the cover.
This idiom means that you should not judge something or someone by appearances, but should look deeper at what is inside and more important.

For other idioms you could see on the following link idioms

Regards  :)
